Monkey PuzzleThe Multi-Dimensional Satchel
Monkey Puzzles’ first release combines the sounds of drums, bass, guitar, voice, violin, clarinet and percussion together with digital and analog manipulation to create something truly unique. Recording, mixing and producing this album was a huge challenge. Every instrument required many different approaches and new ways of thinking in terms of mixing and processing. Often, the guitar and clarinet would sound like many different instruments throughout the course of a single song. However, it goes to show what can be achieved with real instruments. As well as the invaluable organic quality, they bring to the sound the nuances of an organic operator and direct human expression.
